1938 Wedding Gift Irish Linen Damask Tbl Cover & Napkins This set of eight 20x20 napkins and 66x84 tablecover of pure Irish Linen was given to my friend's mother for her wedding in 1938. She died recently at 101-years old in the home she was born and lived in all her life. This absolutely perfect set is in the original box with the wedding gift card. Never taken out of the box. Original tissue paper. The seals on the napkins and tablecover read, "Threads drawn by hand. All pure linen. Made in Ireland ... Jordan Marsh Co., Boston ... No. 6675 P23." The tag on the box adds "Hemstd. Linen Damask Set." I think the damask design flowers are peonies. Again, this set is in perfect, like new, condition. The gift card is from Frank and Anna Wall. Frank Wall was the president of the New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad. No smoking in my home or in the homes of any of my friends for whom I offer items. Combined shipping on all my items. Note, the set alone weighs almost 4 pounds and packing will be sure to push it into the 5 pound shipping weight. Insurance required for this item. Read "Me" for more information and please put FrankandDot in your favorites. I'm not in the selling business. I'm doing this for my friends and me for the fun of it and the opportunity to meet people from around the world, however briefly. Thanks! Linda The free listing tool.
