For auction is an original WW2 German Bayonet . It will complete your historic rifle and/or collection perfectly. Blade Marked W.K.C. . It was made by Weyersberg, Kirschbaum und Co. (WKC) Waffenfabrik GmbH in Solingen-Wald , Germany in 1938 . The blade spine is marked 38 for 1938 . Marked with serial number 2257 e . This number is also stamped on the inside part of the release mechanism. Marked with seven Waffenampts (factory proof marks). Marked with two Eagle and WaA253 stampings on the rear of the pommel, one Eagle and WaA253 stamping on the release button, one Eagle and WaA253 stamping on the handle spine at the rear of the flashguard, one Eagle and WaA253 stamping on the rear of the flashguard, one Eagle and WaA253 stamping on the inside part of the release mechanism (please contact me for a picture) , and one Eagle and WaA253 stamping on the lower blade side of the crosspiece. The last one is in a fairly rare location. I ran out of room for pictures, so please contact me for a picture. The grips are black/brown bakelite. The release button functions properly. The blade has not been sharpened. This one has seen some action. T are scratches and nicks on the blade. T is corrosion and minor pitting. The flashguard is dinged up. T is one large ding on the rear of the pommel near the Waffenampts. Scabbard It is marked: BERG & read more
