ANTIQUE 1939 FORD THE QUALITY GROUP MOTORCAR AUTOMOBILE CAR DEALER SHOWROOM MODEL BOOK~ NO RESERVE ~ Welcome to the month of January, and the 2007 New Year. Being offered for your consideration, with NO RESERVE , is this wonderful Antique 1939 Ford Motorcar Automobile Dealer Showroom Model Book. This book would have been provided to Ford Automobile dealerships to highlight the different models offered in 1939. Measuring 13" in width by 9 1/8" in height the book contains 151 pages and is divided into seven distinct sections. Each section highlights a different automobile or truck model. Each section is accessed by a tab handle on the inner margins of the pages. The first section highlights the Ford V-8 for 1939; two models are featured, those being the Tudor Sedan and the Fordor Sedan. T is a fold out page featuring a large image of the Tudor sedan on one side and the interior of the sedans on the reverse.The second section of the book features the deluxe Ford V-8 models for 1939, those being the Deluxe Fordor Sedan, and the Deluxe Tudor Sedan. T are fold out pages featuring drawings of the Deluxe Fordor sedan as well as several black and white photographs of the interiors of both models. The third section is entitled "Ford Features"; the pages give information on the V-8 engines, chassis, body types, and colors. The fourth section features the new Mercury models, the Mercury 8 Town Sedan, both coupe and convertible. T are fold out color pictures of the models as well as several black and white photographs of the interiors.The fifth section is devoted to the Lincoln Zephyr V-12. T are several pictures of the engines, the production lines at the factory, and the finished models.The sixth section features the Lincoln V-12 and the Lincoln seven passenger sedan, Lincoln convertible roadster by Le Baron, the Lincoln two-window Berline by Judkins, and the Lincoln brougham by Brunn. The seventh chapter focuses on the trucks and commercial cars such as the 157 Stake or Platform truck, the 134 inch panel, and the 101 inch C.O.E. dump truck. The last section is labeled accessories.I have included several photographs of the book below for you to accurately judge its condition. I have noticed the following: all of the pages of the book are present but page 85 has come loose from the binding. I believe the binding has been reinforced with clear tape. T has been wear to the tab handles. T is a pencil mark inside the front cover as well as a former price sticker include the front cover. T has been wear to the corners and edges of the spine as well as scattered areas of light soil. Four of the pages show areas of minor wrinkles and small perforations. I did not notice any odors to the paper.~ PLEASE NOTE ~ that any white areas appearing in the photographs are the result of flash photography, and do not exist on the actual object. ~SHIPPING COSTS ~ All auction items will be boxed and packaged appropriately with tissue paper, bubble wrap, and Styrofoam peanuts.
