You are bidding on a guaranteed authentic souvenir from the 1939 Worlds Fair in New York. It is a miniature book with fold out, and has 12 photos / images: Aerial view, Mall of Metals, Food Building, Constitution Hall, Federal Area, Aviation Building, Lagoon of Nations, Hall of Fashion, Hall of Marine Transportation, Hall of Communications, Administration Building, Trylon and Perisphere. Bottom of New York 1939 World's Fair page: Made in U.S.A. The pages fold into the book. The cover is probably aluminum with a clasp the shuts tight to the base that appears to be composite. The actual photos are not yellow as seen in 4,5, and 6. They color is like that of photo 2. I apologize for the blurriness. In very good condition for it's age: one 1/16” imperfection within Mall of Metals image. Not a distraction. Measure 1.5” x 1.25” x 3/8 thick. The only other place I have seen this: /worthopedia/1939-worlds-fair-new-york-miniature-book (cut and paste to browser) From grandmother's collection from Long Island. This was most likely purchased by her or my mother at the Fair. Shipping will be in a padded envelope w/ insurance. Insurance to be determine at end of auction by auction price.
