1939 Yankees Single Game Home Run RecordOffered is a fantastic original 7x9 press photo of key members of the 1939 New York Yankees-- Babe Dahlgren, Joe DiMaggio, Tommy Henrich, Bill Dickey, George Selkirk, and Joe Gordon-- as they set single game hitting records on June 28, 1939 vs the Philadelphia Athletics. Photo copy as it ran in the newspaper is adhered to reverse and dated July 2, 1939. Newspaper reference library stamp is also present with the same date.The photo is in excellent condition some light waviness at the borders. There are light art edits for publication-- outlining to bats and other features, and some dark areas of the dugout have been darkened further. There is also a line of writing, probably publication/edit instructions, toward the bottom of the image. This is mostly faded or was removed at some point.Size: 7" x 9"Note: SCAN text does not appear on the actual photograph.
