Celebrating Over 10 Years on Ebay!! 1939 Postcard Album Description: Great postcard album filled with about 70 postcards from 1939. Mostly views of New York City and the New York World's Fair, but also some comic cards and some cards from South Carolina. Someone put these in side hinges in this album and then left them alone, they are in super great condition. Many of the pages in the album are blank in the center and never had cards mounted t Most cards are not used a few have writing on them with stamps, but not many. The photos provide a sampling of what is in the album, the list that follows gives you a general idea about what is in t, but doesn't cover it all. George Washington Bridge; Triborough and Hell Gate Bridges; Riverside Church and Grant's Tomb; Radio City Music Hall; Rockefeller Center; St. Patrick's Cathedral; Trinity Church; Little Church Around the Corner; Cathedral St. John the Divine. Also: Statue of Liberty (with airpline flying above); Ellis Island; Lower Manhattan Skyline; Aquarium and Battery Park; Woolworth Building; Chrysler Building; Empire State Building; Grand Central Station; Pennsylvania Station; and City Hall. Also: Madison Square Garden; Yankee Stadium; Times Square (with airplane flying above); Union Station in Washington DC; 16 1939 New York World's Fair postcards; 4 Saumuel Goldring comic postcards (slightly risque); among others.
