This is a beautiful 10 Speed White & Black Sunbeam Model 5B "Mixmaster" mixer that was issued in 1939 introducing a new stylish look for the time, that included the front horizontal vents and the full cap speed control. This is also the last model that was made with the chrome tips at the beater attachments.This comes with the original matching 5 qt & 2 qt mixing bowls and beaters. **THIS HAS BEEN TESTED AND IT WORKS WONDERFULLY!** It is ready to go to work or to be displayed. This model was made circa 1939 and features the bullet speed control with 10 speeds, a trigger release to allow for the mixer to be removed from the stand, 2 matching Milk Glass mixing bowls, removeable turn table and a base that allows for 2 positions of the turn table. The mixer itself is in near excellent condition cosmetically & mechanically. It has been used but well maintained and needs only some minor cleaning. Some facts about the condition of this unit; - Paint seems to be about 98% intact -The decals are 100% intact - The turntable freely rotates, as does the mixer head for ejecting the beaters - The cord is in excellent condition with no breaks, cracks or frays - The beaters are in near excellent condition. - Both bowls are in EXCELLENT condition with absolutely no chips, burrs, cracks or stains. - Note: The 5 qt bowl has an interesting raised knob in the center of the bowl.
