Straight out of an Upstate NY estate are these eight Wizard of Oz books by L. Frank Baum. Published by Rand McNally & Co. Chicago. They are the junior edition size of 6 3/4" x 5 1/4". They are in good condition with problems listed below. 1.) The Emerald City of Oz - edge wear and scuffs. Interior in very fine condition with no rips, foxing or folds. Spine strong and intact. 2.) The Road To Oz - as above but has original price sticker of .10 from Sibley, Lindasy and Curr Co. which was a department store in Upstate NY that became Macy's. 3. Rinkitink In Oz - as above (no sticker) and slight aging on inside cover. 4.) The Land Of Oz - as above but tape on upper 2" of spine that wraps up and over to inside cover. 5.) The Patchwork Girl of Oz - as above but front cover was disconnected at spine and someone taped it. Back page has list of other books in this series and has some pencil marks on last page. 6.) Little Dorothy and Toto of Oz and The Cowarly Lion and the Hungry Tiger of Oz. - As number 1 7.) The Scarecrow and The Tin Woodman of Oz - As #4 but discoloration carries into the pages. 8.) Jack Pumpkinhead and the Sawhorse of Oz and Tik-Tok and the Gnome King of Oz. - more worn than others and some foxing and discoloration, one pencil mark on back blank page. A wonderful opportunity to add to your collection! All for one price!
