LAST CHANCE: My husband purchased this in a garage full of memorbilia. This was a special treat to find in the corner covered with a rag. I have done extensive research on the Worlds Fair from New Year in 1939. These 40 cars was each labeled as an advistisment for different people. This is number 40 and is marked as such inside were the cables are. It is completely original and I have kept it in a heated garage for over 10 years. We did hook up batteries to see if the motor was in working condition and it started with little problem The colors are beautiful and do have some minor scratches from use. These would line up at the gates of the Expo and for .25 customers would ride the fair. It has the original umbrella with the original manufacturing tag from Philadelphia on the inside. It is worn, has very minor tearing on a seam, but works perfectly. The original blue leather seat is in two pieces that are removable to install the batteries that would have run the car I do not have the charging cable. It appears to use a cable similiar to a fork lift. The driver would sit in back on the small red leather seat. I have found one other car like this in Philadelphia at the Atwater Kent Musueam. It is privitely owned but you can make an appointment to see it and the other Worlds Fair memorbilia that is also on lone. The metal foot rest is read more
