FROM the 1939 WORLD'S FAIR in NEW YORK comes this amazing vintage combination walking cane and sitting stool. This KAN-O-SEAT measures 35" when closed to act as a walking cane and 19" to the sitting area and 30' inches to the handle when opened to be used as a stool. It features a great looking logo for the fair on the seat itself . It is in EXCELLENT CONDITION throughout! Manufactured by the STAFFORD - JOHNSON SEATING CORP. of IONA MICHIGAN, this 70 year old seat was stored for many years along with other momento's from my Grandfather's pub outside of Boston which he ran until the mid 50's. One of his patrons, who is in the attached photo, brought the item back for him and it hung in the pub for many years) ...My family has enjoyed iit for many years myself but it now time to pass it on as it is a great collector's item and momento of a bygone era.
