First is 1940 instrument flying book by retired commander of the day from the navy p.v.h. weems.this one covers over 11 chapters and 300 pages of a to z instrument flying and even has maps from the 40's covering altitude, airway freqs, and other maps. chapters include instrument training, use of radio range, airway meteorological service, navigation, civil air regulations, winds, fogs and ice, air masses, elements, classifications and much more. Second book is air navigation by weems, 1943, over 300 pages a to z including air compass, air pilotage, theory, equipment, charts and much more. If you love to fly, these two vintage flying books will be a great desk collection or conversation piece.
