1940 Louis Marx Superman Rollover Plane Tin Wind-Up Toy (or " Superman vs. the Monoplane ") 1st EVER Release 1940 This is a Marx Superman Rollover Airplane lithographed tin toy, with "(c) 1940 Superman Inc." printed along the side of Superman's cape, making t his the first 1940 release. Clockwork action with key present. When the key is wound, the plane rolls forward, and Superman swings under the tail of the red and yellow plane, rolling it over. The scans are fairly descriptive.
