Up for auction is a rare 1940's porcelain enamel Shamrock Trail Master gas sign. The Shamrock Oil Company was founded in 1929 in Amarillo, Texas and merged with Diamond Alkali in 1967 forming the Diamond Shamrock Refining and Marketing Company. This sign is in very good condition. All 6 mounting holes have the grommets but t is small porcelain losses on the bottom left corner and along the right edge between the upper 2 mounting holes. The colors are bright and the sign has excellent shine. The sign measures 12 1/2 inches high and 10 1/2 inches wide. This sign would make a great addition to any collection. The sign is sold as is. Thank you for looking and good luck.
