1940's JAPANESE Art Deco Restaurant Chandelier WORKS We recently purchased a large Estate out of Seattle Washington, so be sure to see our other auctions for more great Antiques and collectibles. This auction features a fantastic 1940's Japanese Art Deco chandelier that came from a from a Japanese Restaurant Chandelier showcases 6 celluloid panels that each measure 4 x 2.5 inches and has a wonderful Japanese scene in each. T are 6 large x 2.5 inch celluloid panels 2 with Geishas , 1 with a Temple and Mountain and 3 with Japanese script. Each of these panels also has a cutwork design on top and bottom. Accenting each large panel is a beautiful 1.5 inch wide Japanese design. The top and bottom of each upper panel has a cutwork Japanese design. The top side has 6 large Dragon heads with 17 inch long red silk tassels hanging from each. Tassels also have Jade colored Fish, Medallions and beads. Overall size of chandelier is 18.25 inches tall x 17.5 inches in diameter. All parts of chandelier, except the panels and tassels are made of a early hard plastic.
