1940--"THREE FACES WEST" (STARRING JOHN WAYNE, SIGRID GURIE AND CHARLES COBURN)--REPUBLIC PICTURE'S TELEGRAM INVITATION TO WORLD MOVIE PREMIERE...'s a wonderful old WESTERN UNION TELEGRAM INVITATION from Republic Pictures for the World Premiere of their hit war movie, "THREE FACES WEST", directed by Bernard Vorhaus, and starring John Wayne, Sigrid Gurie and Charles Coburn...NOTE...The invitation says the movie is "The Refugee"...The name was changed to "Three Faces West" on release in U.S., but was released in U.K. and Europe as "The Refugee"...This special event was held at Warner Bros.
