Here is a 1940's or 1950's Vega Profundo acoustic guitar, made in the USA. The serial # is 9250 and the pat # is 2460943-2468-37. It was made by Vega Company Inc Boston, Mass. This cool old guitar is in very good condition for it's age. It has some nicks, scratches, and weather checking. I see no cracks in the wood. The top is spruce with mahogany back and sides. This fancy guitar has a multi bound top, rosita single bound back, and a bound neck with block & dot inlays on the rosewood fingerboard. The frets show some wear, but it still plays great. The neck is pretty straight with slight relief. The action is just under 3/16" at the 12th fret. The top of the bridge was slightly taken down, it could come down more. The bridge is ebony that was painted brown. The tuners were changed to repro Klusons and work good. Included is the original hang tag and soft shell case that may or may not be original. This guitar has a nice tone and be great for any player or collector! Please feel free to ask me any questions!US sales only! Will not ship over seas! No exceptions!I offer flat rate UPS ground shipping with insurance for 25.00.All sales final! No refunds or returns!
