1940's Charles Murphy Red Wing Pottery White Art Ware Vase larger version High Relief Mid-Century Style# 1151 This is a Red Wing Pottery vase # 1151 known as the mid-century style in high relief and designed by Charles Murphy.This vase was first offered in 1942.The style is Art deco with a lady and high relief stylized design on front and back of vase with stylized off-set handles on each side.T are a few glaze defects on this vase. T are two very small round areas on the vase front that looks like a small glaze bubble or pimple (caused by touching another piece in the kiln) and a few runs. I have included detailed photographs of all sides of this vase and the small bubbles.Otherwise, the vase is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The vase stands 8¼" tall.
