1940s Chatham,Ma Cape Cod Oil Painting,Oyster Pond This is a vintage oil painting of Oyster Pond located in Chatham,Massachusetts. The painting is an oil on board and measures 11x14 inches. The painting is signed in the lower right corner with a monogram, pictured , but we are not sure of who it stands for. On back is a description by the artist of the style they were trying to paint. It reminds me of a Ptown school style so it might have been an artist who came up for the day to paint scenes around Chatham back in the 1940s. We normally send out items within 1-3 days of receiving payment. Sometimes we will wait 5-8 days if payment was made by personal check so it clears with the bank. We do provide tracking numbers with all purchases. Please email us if you need different shipping arrangements. We do allow for personal pick up of certain items. Our Shipping price includes the full amount of insurance, which is the final winning bid amount. International Shipping We ship items international but please email us for rates before bidding because some items are very expensive to ship due to weight, size, and double boxing that might be required. We ship items to foreign countries thru USPS Priority Mail(Post Office), Fedex International and sometimes UPS international. We only ship to a verified PayPal listed address. We have to insure all packages for the final selling price so the buyer will be responsible for all taxes or duties entering their country.
