For your consideration today is very nice, large, original 1940's Farmall and International farm machinery equipment display poster or banner from a tractor dealership, with no reserve on this auction!! This is one of two great looking banners that we are selling, both guaranteed to be an original vintage item and not a reproduction! This huge sign measures around 57.5" long and 33.5" tall, and is printed onto a very heavy stock paper. Each corner has metal grommets in place for hanging on the wall, and the bottom left corner is marked 332-D and 8-10-C. The bottom right corner reads Litho in USA CSP Co. The beautiful full color signs features two of the famous IH logos, then t are 19 small artists pictures of very old farm equipement and tractors scattered across the top half or more of the sign. They include the spreader, dump rake, seeder, combine, tractor, elevator, hay stacker, forage havester, hay mower, springtooth and disc. Some of these are the old fashioned horse drawn type implements with the seat on them, so really does make a super display piece! The sign reads IH International Harvester, in the logo, then "Is Known Served Best At The Sign of IH Service". Truly one dandy show piece! The condition of the banner is EX overall, but does have a few minor spots of wear and one soft spot in the lower right corner. T are basically no signs of any paint damage or bad marks, the edges show very minor paper wear that has taken a very little bit of the color off the paper, t are a few scattered light wrinkles that are very minor, a couple very minor paper cracks on the edges, t are very minimal signs of handling around the border as it remains clean throughout! T is only one area on this entire sign that has a soft or lightly damaged spot which is in the lower, right hand corner, the area t has some softness to the paper and some light staining as well, it has a light tear and a crease in that spot, but that t are no parts missing nor is it badly damaged. That is basically it for any medium flaws that this unique advertising banner has. The item has a little waviness to it from being stored improperly, but this really does not affect its display at all. The back has only very minimal storage dust and light age discoloration, nothing major at all. Again, nothing affects the display of this piece at all!! The colors on this banner are just fantastic, with no evidence of fading or being displayed in sunlight! Colors basically look like new, sharp and crisp, really standing out when on display! T are no holes anyw on this piece besides one minor tack hole near one grommet that is hardly seen, and all four corner grommets are in place with no tearing at all, with some normal metal oxidation on them. The back, bottom border has some left over remains of what was probably some kind of factory issued sticky strip that help keep it tight to a window or wall when hanging. The strip is gone but you can see w it was. Looks like it was stored for most of its life!! This is just a really neat and large display poster, rarely found this nice, and believe you will not be disappointed with this item at all! This one is ready to hang in your collection, either with your antique tractors or with your farm toy collection!!
