This is a very neat looking item with the Mt. Rushmore Black Hills South Dakota markings, this would have originated from the Black Hills area and has a very neat scene in one corner with the four Presidents shown; Lincoln, Washington, Roosevelt and Jefferson. This is a true vintage, aluminum license plate topper sign that features the scene of the four Presidents at Mount Rushmore at the upper left corner, it measures 11" wide by 4" tall at the tallest point. The item remains in great shape structure wise with no bends or small pieces missing, the tiny points and outer edges are also in nice shape, no cracks or chips, just has stayed nice and strong for all these many decades! The item has all the lettering and faces section attached just fine, nothing loose or cracked, the loops for attaching to the license are both in fine shape, the item does have some surface wear overall with some loss of coloring on the slogan area that has the Black Hills South Dakota marking, nothing has been repainted or touched up at all, t are a number of small surface marks on the metal as well as some marks on the surface that are like oxidation spots, they are not serious things at all, we just wiped the item off and did not attempt to polish or buff the bare metal parts, but t are a few spots that would probably clean up a lot better with the right cleaner, but did not want to scratch or damage the surface, so left it as is. The red coloring behind the main writing has some spots w t are dings or chips but still most remains in good shape, the detailing of the four Presidents heads is very nice yet and remains sound, the back has the normal age discoloring of the aluminum, also needs a better cleaning, but remains very sound and straight. This is a real neat display item that has a lot of good features, and even with a little bit of surface marks, this is still looks very nice, and believe you will like it very well!! This is a fine advertising piece that would be a nice Christmas present, and if you have read this far, you can automatically deduct $2.00 off the total of your bill when paying by putting in -$2.00 at the bottom of your invoice, so thanks for reading the entire listing!!
