Up for auction is a 1940's National Cash Register. I'm guessing it's from the 1940's due to the label on the bottom of the drawer stating it was refinished 09-28-55. The model is 124(8) and the serial number is: 3957710. This came from a barber shop out of Braddock, Pennsylvania. T are a few small marks and scuffs which are typical for its age. The buttons work properly. The register tape comes out perfect and is stamped "Dewey's Barber Shop" with each transaction. The internal register tape may need ink as it does not print like the outer tape does. T are 3 keys with the register. All springs in the drawer are in great condition. The change tray is bake lite plastic and is in great shape as well. The paint is all original. This cash register is in great condition and a very neat collectible piece. As I have attempted to describe this item to the best of my ability, please e-mail me with questions prior to bidding. I am going to put a standard shipping rate of $50.00 in due to the weight and the size of the box, but if it is much cheaper, I will certainly refund the difference.
