1940's PHOTO & PC ALBUM OR WA NV GAS TRUCKS FAMILY 390+ Description: This is a 1940's family photo album showing their travels and experiences in California, Nevada, Washington and Idaho. T are over 370 photographs, 11 real photo postcards and 9 linen postcards in the album. Most of the photos are smaller snapshots, with a few larger photos mixed in. The family operated a general contracter trucking business, mostly delivering gasoline and also hauling equipment. Many of the photos are related to this, as well as general photos of travel, family and friends. We have shown some of the highlights of the album in the images provided with this listing. The album itself measures 7.75 x 11" and is wooden painted Southwestern folk art on front. Most of the photos and postcards have been captioned and sometimes dated by the original owner. Many of the pages have torn free from the binding, and some of the photos are loose. All of the photos and postcards were mounted in with corners and not pasted down, so they can be removed or revised.
