For sale is this as-is 1940s vacuum tube amplifier with tubes. I don't see a brand, but think its RCA because the 71A sockets are marked 171A. RCA marked these 171As, Cunningham marked these 371A, Arcturus marked these 071A, DeForest marked these 471B.You get 2 good tested 171As (test solidly in the good), the type 80 rectifier shown (tests a little weak but usable), and you get a solid state type 80 plug in tube sub. This amp is as-is, has some cut wires, untested. The cicuit looks similar to RCA's 1947 2x 2A3 amp (2A3's are similar to 71's). I'll give copy of this schematic diagram. It is ultra heavy. Note the bottom has removable rails (bottom sides). To get it to fit in a Flat Rate Priority Mail box and save you a ton on shipping, I will loosen these bottom rails and let them tilt out a little to make the amp 1/4" shorter, so it can be shipped much cheaper in a flat rate box. I will mail the tubes seperate.
