Up for auction is a late 1940's original (not a reproduction or digital Copy or recent reprint)of the San Pedro/ Long Beach Harbor area in California showing Pope Talbot SS LInes Building, Bostonian cargo ship at the dock, a cafe, old cars and views of the oil refinery in the background.This auction is for ONE(negative) Only, no photo!. The negative measures 4" by 5" and is in good condition (negative is sharper than my photograph)(Any reflections are from my camera and is not visible on negatives) .These will make very nice 8" by10" photographs. I recently purchased a huge collection of early 1940's to early 1950's original ship photos taken at San Pedro and Los Angeles Harbor(Long Beach) California. The collection focuses on WWII Victory Ships, Tramp Steamers, and freighters.By the amount of photos it appears he took a picture of every ship that came into harbor. The collection has been in storage for over 40 years and is in good to very good condition. I'll be listing them as I sort through them. All photos sold "as is" with no return .
