This lot came from the estate of a World War II United States Army Air Forces B-17 Navigator, who flew combat missions in Europe with the 8th Air Force, 368th Bomb Squadron out of England. This lot includes fourteen ribbons, including ribbons for the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal, and campaigns; a Presidential Unit Citation ribbon; a 8 th Air Force shoulder patch, moth nipped; a single USAAF collar insignia pin; two 1 st Lieutenant bars and one 2 nd Lieutenant bar; a St Christopher Medal on a chain found with the ribbons; and a B-17 crew photo, with the Navigator and the rest of his crew. Photo is approximately 3 ½ x 4 ¾" and was taken in 1944 at the US Army Air Field in Alexandria, Louisiana. Nice ribbon, patch and insignia grouping. Please see my other medal, document, and photo groupings from this same estate currently on ebay. All good to very good.
