1940s Vintage Eberthal Bavaria German Teacup Saucer This fine elegant demitasse cup and saucer made in early post-war WWII Germany in 1940s. The bold gold lace on a wonderful brick red and matte gold lace on gold is inside the cup and on saucer. S aucer has a scalloped edge design, t rimmed in thick gold gilt. The cup is footed (the foot is scalloped raised design, and is gold gilt) and has a loop handle that is gold gilt on the outside. Gorgeous, vintage beauty! It is made in W. Germany by Eberthal Bavaria and both pieces are marked and numbered 2506 31. Marking: Crown, Bavaria Eberthal Qualitats-Porzellan W. Germany 2506 31" . Saucer is 4 1/2" in diameter. The cup is 3" in diameter and 1 1/2" high. It is a wonderful brick-red color with beautiful gold detailing and is in excellent condition - no chips or cracks and no wear on the gold and coloring. The picture of 4 cups is just for display purposes only, only one cup is included in this auction. T are 4 matching cups in varying colors and closely-matched patterns that look stunning together!
