Here is a Vintage TEAPOT with Matching SUGAR BOWL & CREAMER. This Set is PORCELIER VITREOUS CHINA. I am not exactly sure of the correct age. It has been in our family for quite a long time. I think it dates back to the 1930s or 1940s era - my best estimate would be the 1940s. Each piece is thick and heavy. Not like fine, delicate China. More like heavy Pottery. Quite Retro-looking. If taken care of - it will last for years & years. Quite sturdy. I am not an antique expert but I have tried to describe this Set as well as I can. Just an added note - the Porcelier company went out of business in the mid-1950s. The condition of this Set is remarkable for its age. The Teapot and Sugar Bowl both have good lids - which fit nicely, as they should. These are two-tone color - white with yellow around the sides. Teapot measure approx. 5 1/4" high to the top of the Lid Knob and about 9 1/2" in width at the widest point - from the handle to the tip of the spout and approx. 6 1/2" in diameter. All pieces in very nice condition. There are no nicks, chips or cracks in any of the pieces. No damage. A few natural production imperfections or some aging. No crazing. The Teapot is white and shiny inside but there is a tiny bit of staining from use, mostly a partial lightish brown ring around the inner bottom. The Creamer is white and shiny inside. read more
