After the dodgers clinched their first pennant in 21 years, this followup edition with World Series on the cover was published. It too sold out within weeks of it's issue.This yearbook is loaded with photos, profiles, statistics, and career records of the players and team history. There are spreads for stars including, Cookie Lavagetto, Dolph Camilli, Billy Herman, Dixie Walker, Pete Reiser, Pee Wee Reese, and others.Included are writeup of the early years of the organization, the 1941 NL Pennant race, Manager Leo Durocher, and President and General Manager Lee MacPhail.Condition This yearbook is in excellent condition. Front and back covers are smooth with no color loss. There is some wear on the spine, but it is only split about 1/2" from the bottom. There is also some edge wear on the cover and a 1" tear on the front cover. The back cover is somewhat dirty from age. All pages are firmly attached with a tight spine.
