The item you are bidding on is a 1941 BROWN DERBY DINNER MENU. This one is from the LOS FELIZ BROWN DERBY RESTAURANT. The Brown Derby was a chain of famous restaurants in the Los Angeles and Hollywood areas. The Los Feliz location was opened by famed Hollywood director Cecil B. De Mille in 1940 so the menu is very early (dated November 8, 1941). Menu is large size (about 20 x 13 inches opened) in excellent condition printed on heavy, glossy cardstock. Still has the two daily special inserts attached which are die-cut shaped like derbies. Free shipping in US. Please email with any questions and be sure to check my other auctions for more great vintage menus from Los Angeles, San Francisco, and other places. Thanks and good luck.
