This is the original 1942 Independent Order of Redmen Charter for the Sonoma, CA Tribe number 293. It is dated 28 November, 1942. It is in it's original frame, under the original glass. It is hand signed by the Grand Chief, 1st Vice Chief, 2nd Vice Chief, Grand Chaplin, Grand Secretary, Grand Treasurer, and Grand Secretary USA. The Sonoma names are all historical names, and many streets in Sonoma are named after these people. In the frame, it measures 23 by 29 inches. It is in overall outstanding condition for it's age. The paper on the back is a little rough. Right out of an estate in Sonoma, covered with dust when I found it.
