1942, US Navy Recruiting Booklet. This very clean and well preserved US Navy Recruiting Bureau booklet is excellent condition. Has a small tear on the back cover. Previous owner had placed protective tape on spine and edges. Soft back, 49 numbered pages, lots of photos, list of all recruiting stations in the 5 major recruiting Divisions. Nice letter from SecNav Frank Knox, physical training page, review of medical and detal programs, two pages on shipboard living (ugh), Ships stores, geedunk, wow--$133 worth of uniforms, two pages of ratings and patches, two pages on Naval Air, even go to Annapolis (USNA), and enlistment requirements!
