You are bidding on a: Pisgah Forest North Carolina PitcherThe Pisgah Forest Pottery was owned and operated by W.B. (Walter) Stephen from 1926 to 1961. The size is 6.5 inches tall by 4.5 inches wide at top, 3.3 at bottom. Beautiful runny transparent crackly blue with streaks of sparkly gray/white on the outside. Muti-colored inside; bright white, blue white, silver/gray with dark purle and white very bottom. The pictures don't show the awesome colors of the glaze. The glaze surface has a rough texture to it around the top, but is completely glazed. Note: The white spots in the pictures are camera flash on the glossy surface. The vase is marked, clearly, Pisgah Forest with the man at a potter's wheel and the date is 1942. Over all condition is great. No chips, no cracks, no repairs. Good Luck and happy bidding!
