LION'S ROAR MGM Film Magazine This auction is for a rare "Lion's Roar" MGM Film Magazine. This is volume II, issue IV, dated April 1943. The cover features the beautiful Lucille Ball as Madame Du Barry from the film "Du Barry Was A Lady", also starring Gene Kelly, Red Skelton, Virginia O'Brien, etc. T are many fantastic photos accompanying a detailed article on the film as well as wonderful pull out "pin up" type pieces by famed artists Alberto Vargas, Barbara Shermund, and Howard Baer.Another fabulous spotlight features Lena Horne from "Cabin In The Sky". Also featuring Ethel Waters, "Eddie "Rochester" Anderson, Louis Armstrong, and more.
