As the pictures show this auction is for an NGC graded and encapsulated 1943-D Liberty Walking silver half dollar. NGC says the grade is AU (Almost Uncirculated) 58, but the real reason I originally submitted the coin was because I thought there was doubling on the coin. In fact there is doubling on the coin in the form of "hub doubling" as NGC has confirmed in a separate note that came with the slab (the certification number of the coin is on the note as well as the slab and the winning bidder will get the note from NGC as well as the coin), but I could not get the DD designation on the slab in that this is not a true double-die. Please note here... there is an amusing aspect of this auction to me, in that I forget where I precisely found doubling on the coin! I leave it to the winning bidder to discover where the hub doubling is located. Please judge the condition of the coin by the pictures.
