1943 Walking Liberty, Four Silver Half Dollars. Two P,one D,one S mints. USA, Silver BullionYou are bidding on the actual coins pictured. These are in nice condition. No mint mark on two on top which I think means Philadelphia. The bottom left is a 1943-D, and the bottom right is a 1943-S. Since I retired as the Dread Pirate Roberts, I've been sitting on a small hoard of heavy old silver coins. It's time to get rid of some. Pure Silver is $41.76 per ounce today. Scrap value alone today (4/14/11) of a coin of this weight is $13.55! I am just asking slightly over that for the extra value as genuine antique US Silver coins in nice condition. If these things could talk.... Its fun to carry one of these real old, heavy, solid silver coins in your wallet to show off, or to give one as a gift, or keep it as an investment for a rainy day. Its from a time when money was real! This Silver Half Dollar still is the real thing.
