EBAY.... This Auction Item Complies / Conforms with all EBAY (ATF Too) Listing Requirements Pertaining to The Listing of Shell Casings and Inert Projectiles. This Shell Casing & Inert Projectile ARE INERT . This is a Display Item. The Empty Shell Casing Has Been Rendered Inert Contains NO Propellant, Cap or Any Other Substance to Ignite. It Cannot be Made Functional. The Interior of The Inert Projectile Has Had its Contents Drilled Out And Any Remaining Voids Were Filled With an Inert Epoxy Substance as filler. This auction is for one German 3,7 cm Flak 18 Round and one inert steel rare projectile. I placed the inert projectile onto the shell for picture purpose only. If you wanted to mount it to the shell, you would need to press it into the shell casing. This Flak round is dated "41" (1941) on its base. It has some great proofmarks on the base (see pictures). This steel (looks like stainless steel) casing is in perfect condition. T are no dents, cracks or repairs. The steel inert projectile has been rendered inert. This inert projectile is steel, has original yellow paint and has several black stampings on it. One looks to be "35" and some other stampings that you might be able to see by looking closely at the pictures. This inert projectile has a removable / screw on / off end cap that is made of aluminum with some great proofmarks (see pictures). Not too sure, but this part might have been a proximity fuse. If someone knows, please let me know. The steel shell casing is 10.5" tall. The inert projectile is 5" tall. When was the last time that you saw the inert projectile and the shell together, especially one like this. Check my other listings as I also have another 3,7 Flak Round with a steel inert projectile.
