you have another D-Day Normandy Two Franc Invasion Script Note dated 1944. Paratroopers and GIs carried the Invasion Script. It has a serial number and the writing is in French. The reverse features the French Flag. The note was kept as a souvenir and is in about near mint condition. Incredibly it was folded only once and apparently shipped home as a souvenir. This WWII D-Day Normandy 2 Franc Note for the Liberation of France would make a wonderful addition, upgrade and/or completion to a WWII GI or Paratrooper European Theatre collection. The note would be perfect to add to your re-enactor's outfit, and would look terrific in your display, museums, and for educational and theatrical presentations.
