Up for auction is a vintage 5-45 (year it was made?) Corps of Engineers, US Army, field compass and magnifying glass, manufactured by Superior Magneto Corp. L I City, New York, USA, as marked on it's underside. It has a bit rusted metal belt ring attached as well as a miniature swing away magnifying glass. The entire piece measures 3.75" by 2", approx. T are a few white specks of missing paint on it's topside, but the entire cover is metal and free of dents or any substantial scratches. The compass inside is in perfect working order, very few scratches, the glass a bit cloudy on one side of the edge of the glass, but completely visible.This item is great for the vintage army memorablila collector or backpacker, hiker, hunter or outdoorsman. T is no reserve price on this auction. Buyer pays shipping, sent in a small priority mail box, ($4.60), plus cost of delivery confirmation of 65 cents anyw in the US. I will be more than happy to combine multiple won auctions for a drastic shipping savings, if at all possible.
