Offered is a 304 page, hard bound, 1945 first edition of " The Best of Yank, The Army Weekly ", containing a myriad of information, humor, letters and War accounts all at a soldier's level from men who were t The book contains the following : 56 of the best photos made by Yank photograghers, 68 cartoons drawn by both professional cartoonists and the soldiers themselves, 27 poems, 40 articles under " Fiction & Humor ", Mail Call, What's Your Problem ?, and 66 individual first hand War Reports. Some of the titles are : Jungle War, Cameraman in Cassino, Rommel-Count Your Men, Blown Off the Deck of an LST, Road to Tokyo, The Dead End Kids, The Last Days of Guadacanal, Psychological Warfare, Notes From a Burma Diary, The Assam Dragons, A GI View of the Teheran Conference, Hospital Ship, Over the Hill, The Sad Sack, Fifty Missions, Nudge in the Rear Came Too Soon, So He Bombed the Wrong Target in China, the list goes on and on.
