1950 Wurlitzer 48 Selection Wallbox Model 3045 (Converted 3020) This 3045/20 is a 48 Selection Wallbox that was that converted the Model 3020 to handle 48 selections to support the 1950 introduction 48 selection Jukeboxes. The conversion consists of a dial on the front that controls a new set of label holders that are overlaped. The turning of the dial changes the labels by sliding one set over the other. T are also some minor wiring changes. T was a Model 3045 but conversions are more common, though I suspect limited amounts were made since the new 48 select Jukeboxes were supported by the 4800 series of wallboxes, but jukebox operators like to make maximum use of their wallbox installations and only change out the jukebox. This is definately a nickel plated unit. Everything is original. This was sold as a 5-10-25 cent unit. Size is 13 3/4" H x 8 3/4" W x 6" D Net Weight is: 24 Lbs Serial Number is: 1110389 The Cosmetic Condition is good to very good, but please look at all the pictures (and enlarge them) to get a good idea of the cosmetic condition of all sides and interior. Other than cleanup I have done no cosmetic work on this unit. The wallbox Cabinet, which is nickel is good but has numerous minor "bumps" that is a precursor to pitting and brush like scratches but overall this still shows well. T is some heavy pitting at the coin return area. I personnaly think that the pictures make this look slightly better than it is, but it is still a very nice Glass is original as is decal and decal is intact Nickel/Chrome (see above) Other: Interior has not been cleaned or worked on The Mechanical Condition is unknown since I have never used this as a wallbox so I have no idea if it works nor is that implied. Due to the simple nature of the operation and components fixing these should not be real difficult. Unless otherwise stated I believe this unit to be complete (exception is some missing light bulbs) The original lock has been drilled out. The unit can be locked and unlocked by moving a slide bar on the back. I am selling off my entire 30 year collection of collectibles which will include jukeboxes, jukebox related collectibles (mini jukes and Wurlitzer items), coin-op, Esso/Exxon Memorabilia (worked t 30 years), Coca-Cola items, slot machines, "Tom's" items etc. The largest items (Jukeboxes, Slots, Tom's Vending Machine etc) will be for Houston Pickup Only. But the prices for those will be CHEAP (starting price 20% of what I paid!!!). If you are interested in the Houston Pickup Only please Email Me so I can contact you BEFORE the auction. SHIPPING: Will be actual shipping cost via UPS (domestic) or USPS Air Parcel Post for International. Be sure that your zip code is on the shipping line to get the correct shipping cost. International customers need to provide a valid phone number for shipments to a residence. Cannot offer shipping discounts for multiple orders as I have discovered due their weight and density these really need to be shipped in separate boxes. If I determine I can combine and save you money I will let you know, but this likely will only apply to a few auctions. Before you Bid: Restrictions My objective is to minimize my own hassle factor so the following apply, even though I know I am minimizing what I might get. Do not ask for exceptions. I only take PayPal for Payment I Only ship to the USA, Canada and Europe. I have recently added Canada and Europe but since I have never used this before the first few shipments may get a little delayed as I try to figure out the shipping restrictions and customs declaration. I am only offering UPS Ground for USA shipments and USPS Air Parcel for Canada and Europe . Insurance is optional but shipping damage to Buyer Account, though I pack items well
