is a beautiful WORKING Bendix Model 0526E Tube Radio, manufactured on 4-18-46 at Plant A, as painted on the bottom of the cabinet from a stencil. This radio features a gorgeous wood veneer case in exceptional condition. The radio works well. It tunes in clearly and holds signal well. I am a collector of vintage memorabilia and have scaled down my collection considerably. I had this radio displayed in my collection for many years after purchasing it from a NJ collector who restored vintage radios. I recall the collector moving and selling off his collection. Not being a radio purist, I selected this radio for display based on condition and the look, which appealed to me. This is an AM / Police Band Model and is approx. 13" wide by 7" deep by 8" tall. My notes from purchase state that this is an Ingram Cabinet. Perhaps a radio collector will know what that refers to, but I do not know. The ORIGINAL factory label is present, as shown in the photos, as well as the original sales sticker from the retailer who sold this back in the 40s. It was originally sold at the Adams Radio Company, 65 Washington Ave., Troy, Rhode Island. T is no zip code on the sales label as this was manufactured prior to the USPO implementation of zip codes.
