A real nice vintage Anderson Spitfire 6100 Series ignition model airplane engine. I think these are from about 1947 - 1948 or so. Engine is super clean and appears complete other than two missing screws for the exhaust manifold. I do not think it has been run. The gas tank and exhaust manifold have not been put on. There is even one unpunched hole in the manifold gasket . The gas tank does not slip on easily but I have not forced it because I do not want to crack it. It comes with the original parts list and instruction sheet. Turns free but is tight. Sure it needs some lubrication but I will leave that to the new owner. I got this from a lady who said it belonged to her father. This engine is in excellent shape and displays great with its large size. Probably a little hard to come by in this kind of condition.
