From my personal horse racing collection and not a recent find. This is a September 27, 1947 horse racing program scorecard from Belmont Park. This program was for the MATCH RACE between Armed & Assault. Armed beat the 1946 Triple Crown Winner in the Famous Match Race. Calumet Farm owned Armed vs the King Ranch Assault with Eddie Arcaro. I am grading this Program as fair to good condition - race track scored. This program was never folded or creased & has a fresh clean crisp front cover and race page scored in pencil but was originally in a scrapbook and was neatly cut out with the back black construction page still attached. See scan 4. This is one of the tougher match race programs to find USE EBAY'S ENLARGE FEATURE TO SEE A CLOSE UP OF THIS RARE BELMONT MATCH RACE PROGRAM.
