1947 LaRay Power Cycle Partially restored Please read entire listing . Freshly powder coated Frame, Jackshaft, Fenders, Floorboards, Brake Rod, and Seat post. New items on bike are the grips, Belts, bushing for jack shaft, pulleys, clutch, Throttle cable, kickstand, Tires, and tubes. The gas tank has been hot tanked and resealed with POR15 tank sealer. Just take to your local body shop and have it painted gloss black. Addition includes period correct speedometer (t is no inner cable) The Clinton 701ASL is correct and has been rebuilt with new coils and rings. Very little needs to be done to make this bike 100%. All the hard work is done. Any questions please email me. The LaRay Story: This bike was build by Larry and Ray of La Ray Engineering and Equipment out of Milwaukee Wi. after the war. This bike was only produced for 1 year due to the factory w they were being built at was shut down by US goverment for back taxes. 5 years later all was lost. Many believe that some of the tooling ended up being bought by Safticycle as they share similar gas tank and hubs on the Commando. I have documented 50 only left to exist out of appox 2500 built.
