Vintage Kohner Push Puppet... "MAC THE SAILOR #126". Front of Plastic Base is Inscribed with Patent Number 2,421,279 dating this toy to 1947. The Base is also Inscribed with "A KOHNER PRODUCT". This Vintage Push Puppet by KOHNER is a Large 6" Tall. The toy sits slightly unlevel due to plastic base warpage and the button off-level....which is common with these old Plastic Kohner Push Puppets. There are NO BREAKS AND NO REPAIRS. Strings and Action are good.. Sailors hat raises, legs collapse, ships wheel doesn't really turn till you tilt the puppet sideways. I see some slight rubbing on the painted beads. The ships wheel, which is made out of laminated cardboard, has all its handles and is still in great condition (many of these have broken handles and have delaminated). Puppet has a little dust on it, I will leave any cleaning to the new owner. Very cool vintage Navy uniform...even has bell bottom pants!
