1947 SMEC Maserati 2 Litre 'Scale Model Equipment' Wooden Kit. In Original Box! Very rare SMEC (Scale Model Equipment Company) Maserati 2 Litre wooden racing car kit, in its original box. This vintage kit has been previously assembled but would certainly benefit from being stripped back for a sympathetic restoration by a skilled hand (see photos). The model itself looks mostly good as is the box it comes in, especially for a 66 year old kit. It has also retained the original assembly plans and leaflets which are very good. A very nice hard to find genuine model that requires a skilled hand to complete the project properly. There is no reserve on this item and bidding starts at 99p.
