Limited, large paper edition designed by Lewis F. White. Introduction by Louis Untermeyer. 1499 copies printed for the US and the same number for the UK. 10 unnumbered copies for reviewers. This copy is 1248. Hardcover, includes the original clear plastic dust jacket. 1940's plastic deteriorated rapidly and not many of the jackets survive. Approximately 8.5”x10.75”. 123 pages. Black & white illustrations - full page frontispiece and smaller decorations throughout. Black/Navy textured leatherette cover with a very stylistic design. Condition: Book is Very Good. Very minor shelf wear to ends of spine and tips of corners. Some toning to edges of endpapers and pages. Clean inside and out, binding is tight. Very stylish period bookplate belonging to Bill West on front endpaper. The dust jacket is a bit less than good and is brittle with some chipping around the edges. Original paper book description is still attached to the dust jacket flap. Scarce limited-edition erotica in a nicely designed Art Deco -ish binding.
