1948 Bowman #22 Floyd Bevins PSA NM-MT 8 Legacy Sports Rarities, a PSA authorized dealer, was formed in 2002 by veteran sportscard dealer Greg Bussineau. Bussineau was the founder of Superior Sportcard (1983) and Superior Sports Auctions (1996). Both Superior companies were owned by Bussineau until they were purchased by Collectors Universe (parent company of PSA) in 1999, upon agreement that he would stay on and run the companies for three years. At the end of this agreement Greg Bussineau decided to go into business for himself once again and formed Legacy Sports Rarities.
On October 4th, 2002 Legacy Sports began running weekly auctions on eBay. Offering a tremendous selection of vintage sports cards from all eras and in all different price ranges, these auctions were an instant success. In less than two years, Legacy Sports' sales placed it in the top one half of one percent of the sports collectibles category. Legacy Sports will continue Bussineau's 20 year tradition of buying and selling the world's most important, finest quality sportscards while offering the highest possible level of customer service and support.
