Phillipsburg & Washington N.J. Police Wednesday Night, April 14, 1948 - Music by Johnny Altieri & His Orchestra - Hillcrest Club inside are mostly advertisers/advertisements from the local area and some further away and on the first page are photos of the 5 Town Commissioners of Phillipsburg, New Jersey, the Mayor - Hartman, Director of Parks - Van Syckle, Director of Streets - Baxter, Director of Revenues - Hagerty, Director of Public Safety - Korp. Then the next two pages list the Wasington Officials: Member of Council, Washington Police Department - Chief of Police, Hill and Assistant Chief, Apgar and 2 patrolmen listed are: Gerrol and Gulick and the next page are Members of the Phillipsburg Police Department: Chief Halley and Assistant Kauffman and 3 Sergeants: Hoff, Stabp and Budd. and a list of 15 Patrolmen. List of P.B.A. Officers and Trustees and Legislative Delegate. Then a 148 pages of Advertisers, some of whom are: Eddie Moy's Modern Steak House, South Main and Jefferson Sts. Phillipsburg on back cover with a photo of the inside; Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 1372 ; Phillipsburg Motor Company, 11 1/2 Union Square, Phone 5-1671, DeSoto and Pymouth Sales and Service; Paristyle Bags Inc.; The Allied Italian American Democratic Club, 68 Broad St.; Sanco Piece Dye Works; and many, many more!
