Rare 1948 Wallace China Shadowleaf Green Pitcher Winter has set in, you are sitting in front of your computer trying to figure out what to get that person who has pretty much everything, for Christmas. Give them a taste of the tropics! These are getting to be quite hard to find, when the collectors find 'em, they latch on and NEVER let 'em go. It's in excellent shape, no chips cracks or crazing present. I think t were more than one size, and this one measures 7.5" tall. I looked up the date code and I belive this (12-V) dates to 1948. I'm having an garage sale on ebay and listing a wide variety of items over the next few months, with darned good starting prices (and very rarely with a reserve). I'm not exactly fond of this new change by ebay, but it appears that starting October 20th, the only form of payment I'm allowed to accept is PayPal, so please make sure you have signed up with them. I'm more than happy to combine shipping, when it doesn't risk damage to an item being shipped (i.e. a glass lamp shade and a 5 lb. hammer). On combined shipping items, I will recalculate shipping, not charge what is shown on one of the auctions. This is fair to me and to you, and hopefully save you a buck or two. I've started listing many more of my auctions showing insurance as an option. Many folks don't want the added expense. I will pack as I always have, but any items shipped without insurance is shipped at the buyer's risk. I cannot be held responsible for damaged or lost goods. I have a good history of packing, but t is always a chance of damage or loss. Also, I try to ship everything w/ delivery confirmation, but this is not tracking.
